Banro Receives Approval for Listing on The Toronto Stock Exchange

Toronto, Canada - November 4, 2005 - Banro Corporation (“Banro” or the “Company”) (AMEX — “BAA”; TSX Venture Exchange - “BAA”) is pleased to announce that its common shares have been approved for listing on the Toronto Stock Exchange (the “TSX”).
The Company’s shares are expected to begin trading on the TSX on or about November 10, 2005 and will be de-listed from the TSX Venture Exchange concurrent with the TSX listing. Banro’s trading symbol “BAA” will remain unchanged. The Company’s common shares will continue to trade on the American Stock Exchange under the trading symbol “BAA”. RBC Capital Markets acted as sponsor to Banro in its application for listing on the TSX.
